Melanie Stewart Dance Theatre and nEW
In June of 2009, Melanie Stewart, producing director of nEW, announced her decision to focus on her time solely on creative practice. The community of nEW has since rallied to create an infrastructure that includes past and present nEW Artists serving to sustain the festival and create a vision for its future. nEW is now truly becoming "artist fueled".
The nEW leadership team consists of the following members:

Melanie Stewart: Artistic Advisor
Melanie Stewart Dance Theatre is the producing organization for nEW. Through the upcoming season a long range plan will be developed with the artists and the project's partners to ensure its future success. Stay tuned for updates!
